Their menu has a great selection, they're very kind and patient for a place with counter service, and the food runner is so sweet and helpful. We were very pleased to see they served beer, and gleefully surprised to see that they had Boylan's soda for their fountain drink option. It was the perfect ratio of ingredients and compliment of flavors. The in-house made rye was so good, I plan to get a load next time I'm there. Ordered to go, and received my order in under 10 minutes despite a steady line of customers. About 2 minutes after placing my order a manager walked up and gave me some cash, saying it was a refund because I'd been double charged for something. I had no idea the overcharge had even happened! Potato & cream cheese knish was excellent (tender pastry with savory, flavorful, and perfectly moist filling). The seasoned fries are the rare ones that actually have ample (and delicious) seasoning on every fry. Egg salad had really good flavor but was a little runny for my taste. We had it as a side, which I wouldn't order again for that reason, but I'll try it sometime on a sandwich. Portions are generous - my husband and I shared the reuben, fries, and side of egg salad for lunch and it was plenty. Highly recommend!
